Kenco Engineering offers a range of level switches, including Ultrasonic Liquid Level Switches, Thermal Differential Level & Flow Switches, and two types of float switches: KEFS Electric Float Switch and KPFS Pneumatic Float Switch. The KEFS uses a magnet and a pressure boundary to change state when the liquid level rises, while the KPFS actuates a pneumatic valve using a snap-acting switch. The Model 207 is a pneumatic float switch that can function as a high or low switch or automatic water make-up valve. These switches are suitable for various liquid and gas applications and come in different materials and mounting configurations.

Ultrasonic Liquid Level Switches

Ultrasonic liquid level switches are versatile and can detect the level of liquid in almost any process or storage vessel. Different materials and mounting options are available to suit specific application requirements.

Thermal Differential Switches

KENCO’s Thermal Differential Switches are versatile and designed for flow and level applications. They can direct overall liquid level, detect liquid-liquid interface, and identify specific flow rates or flow/no flow conditions in liquids and gases.

KEFS Electric Float Switch

The KENCO Model KEFS is a float-based switch used to detect the presence or absence of liquid in a vessel. The switch is triggered when the float rises, causing a magnet to actuate a second magnet and change the switch’s state.

KPFS Pneumatic Float Switch

The KENCO Model KPFS is a pneumatic float switch that uses a float and a magnet to detect liquid levels and actuate a pneumatic valve. The switch rarely requires adjustment and has no seals in the pressure boundary to prevent liquid from entering the enclosure.

106 Pneumatic Float Switch

Low liquid level switch for cooling water expansion tanks. Automatic water make-up for cooling water expansion tanks. Low or high level switch for monitoring levels in tanks

Level switches for liquid and gas applications

Kenco Engineering offers a range of level switches suitable for various liquid and gas applications. These include Ultrasonic Liquid Level Switches, Thermal Differential Level & Flow Switches, and two types of float switches: KEFS Electric Float Switch and KPFS Pneumatic Float Switch.

Ultrasonic liquid level switches are versatile and can detect the location of the level in any liquid. On the other hand, Thermal Differential Switches can direct the overall liquid level or a liquid-liquid interface and can also detect a specific flow rate or flow/no flow condition in liquids and gases. The KEFS Electric Float Switch uses a magnet and a pressure boundary to change state when the liquid level rises, while the KPFS actuates a pneumatic valve using a snap-acting switch. All these switches come in different materials and mounting configurations to meet your application needs.

Specific models of level switches

In addition to the general range of level switches, Kenco Engineering offers specific models, such as the Model 207, a pneumatic float switch that can function as a high or low switch or automatic water make-up valve. The Model 106 is a low liquid level switch suitable for cooling water expansion tanks, while the KPFS Pneumatic Float Switch is used to actuate pneumatic dump valves in scrubbers, separators, and other vessels. All these models feature a solid stainless steel barrier pressure boundary that prevents the process liquid from entering the switch enclosure. The switches are also designed with easy-to-use adjustment screws for any necessary adjustments.
