Flo-Tel Sensor
Flo-Tel bursting disc detection provides a practical, reusable solution to detect when a bursting disc has functioned.

Product description
The Flo-Tel sensor operates using a simple reed switch and magnet technology, and is inserted into a holder along with a magnet on the rupture disc. When the rupture disc bursts, the magnet moves away from the sensor, causing an open circuit signal. This non-invasive detection system is not affected by downstream pressure fluctuations or corrosion, and does not have leak paths or risk of false alarms like traditional membrane-type systems.
Additionally, only the ruptured disc needs to be replaced, eliminating the need for expensive rewiring and maintenance planning. Flo-Tel comes with a 2m, 5m or 10m cable and can withstand process temperatures up to 300°C, while providing fail-safe detection. It is ATEX approved and carries the EC-Type Examination Certificate ITS03 ATEX 21698X, but must be connected to an intrinsically safe supply.
