Vent-Tel offers non-invasive, ATEX approved, reusable burst detection for explosion vents and panels.

Vent-Tel is a non-invasive and fail-safe burst detection system that operates using a simple N/O reed switch and magnet technology. In the event of an overpressure event, the detector can trigger a safe and rapid shutdown of the process.

When fitted to explosion panels, Vent-Tel provides an instantaneous signal of panel actuation within any application. As a non-invasive system, Vent-Tel is not affected by process changes or false signals and does not impact the panel’s performance. Additionally, Vent-Tel can be retrofitted to Elfab’s range of explosion panels.

Vent-Tel is intrinsically safe when installed according to specifications and is ATEX approved to category II 1 GD EEx ia IIC, carrying the EC-Type Examination Certificate ITS03 ATEX 11359. The detector can be supplied integral to the vent or retrofitted to an existing installation.
