Vent-Tel offers non-invasive, reusable burst detection for sanitary applications.

Vent-Tel is a fail-safe and non-invasive burst detection system that operates using a simple N/O reed switch and magnet technology. In the event of an overpressure event, the detector can trigger a safe and rapid shutdown of the process.

Vent-Tel is compatible with Elfab’s full range of sanitary discs for biopharmaceutical applications. The detector is a reusable, independent solution mounted directly to the Tri-Clamp, allowing for easy inspection and replacement of the disc.

Since Vent-Tel does not interfere with the process, it eliminates leak paths and prevents false alarms from pressure fluctuations. It remains in place and connected to the control system after a pressure event and can be reused with the replacement disc, without requiring rewiring.

Vent-Tel is compatible with ferrule and NAC/PAD type connections.
